21 Demands are a Dublin based rock band which formed in late summer 2005. On the 9th of March 2007 the band made chart history by releasing a download single called Give Me A Minute which reached the number one slot in the Irish singles chart - making them the first ever unsigned band to reach number one, and the first ever act to reach number one in the Irish singles chart based on downloads sales alone.[1] The band are currently working on their debut album with a leading UK record label.[citation needed]

The band consists of:
- Steven Garrigan - Guitar, lead vocals and piano/synthesizer.
- His hobbies include music and gymnastics. In the 2007 You're A Star in which the band were competing he was described as a young David Bowie by judge Linda Martin.[citation needed]
- Conor Linnane - Bass.
- An electrician in Dublin Airport.[2]
- Mark Prendergast - Guitar and vocals.
- His hobbies include music and basketball.[citation needed]
- Vinny May - drums.
