Byurakan (Armenian: Բյուրական, also Romanized as Burakan, Bjurakan, and Biurakan) is a town in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia on the slope of Mount Aragats. The town contains the basilica of Saint Hovhannes and is the site of the Byurakan Observatory.
