The Coat of arms of French Guiana, a région of France located in South America, displays a gules camp, a sable boat with heraldry oars carrying a bunch of gold situated in an azure river with three silver neuflar flowers two of which are paired together and one solo.

The Jefe shows an azure strip with three golden lillies surrounded by the number 1643 made of the same metal.

The number 1643 refers to the year that French Guyana was incorporated into France. The loaded golden boat symbolizes the richness that exists in the territory.

The words, "Work Creates Abundance" (Latin: Fert Aurum Industria) appear on the superior part of the shield on a ribbon.
