Coat of Arms of Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabian coat of arms (Arabic: شعار السعودية‎) was adopted in 1950[1]. According to the Saudi Constitution[2] it consists of two crossed swords with a palm tree in the open upper space between the blades. The swords represents the two areas Hijaz and Nejd united under Ibn Saud in 1926.[3]
