Coat of arms of Saudi Arabia

The Saudi Arabian coat of arms (Arabic: شعار السعودية‎) was adopted in 1950^[1]. According to the Saudi Constitution^[2] it consists of two crossed swords with a palm tree in the open upper space between the blades. The swords represents the two areas Hijaz and Nejd united under Ibn Saud in 1926.^[3]
