Daniele Dessena (born 10 May 1987 in Parma) is an Italian footballer who plays for Serie A club Sampdoria.

He is a midfielder, and a product of Parma youth system.
Dessena has a growing reputation within Serie A, known for his deft touch and range of passing from the centre of the park. He scored Parma's first goal in the 2006-07 UEFA Cup, against FC Rubin Kazan, and continued to play well in the domestic league.
He signed a new five year contract with Parma in summer 2007.
After Parma got relegated to the Serie B, in summer 2008 Dessena joined Sampdoria on a deal worth 4 Million euros.

Since 2006, he is a member of the Italy U-21, with the coach Pierluigi Casiraghi.
