Drăgăneşti-Olt is a town in Olt County, southern Romania with a population of 12,195 as of 2002[update]. It lies on the left bank of the Olt River at an altitude of approx. 100 m. The first document mentioning is from 1526 and Drăgăneşti became a town in 1968.
