Euroscience

Euroscience is a European grassroots organisation founded in 1997 for the support and promotion of science and technology in Europe. The membership of Euroscience consists of individuals interested in constructing a scientific Europe. Its members are scientists of a wide variety of scientific disciplines, institutions of the public sector, universities, research institutes and members from business and the industry.

- The organisation wants to provide an open forum for debate on science and technology in Europe
- It wants to strengthen the links between European science and society
- It wants to contribute to the creation of an integrated European space for science and technology
- And finally it wants to influence science and technology policies
[edit] EuroScience Open Forum
Euroscience organises the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) which brings together stakeholders involved in European science: scientists, business executives and policy-makers. The ESOF is being held every second year, and is hosted by a European city.
