The Spotted-tail Salamander (Eurycea lucifuga) is a thin, enadangered species of cave salamander[1].

This species is found in Illinois,[2] Missouri,[3] Kentucky, Virginia,[4] Oklahoma and Kansas.

Breeding occurs from September to February females give 5-120 eggs. [5]

Dark spots cover the body and tail. Adults reach lengths of 15 cm (5.9 in).[6]

Found close to caves also under moist rocks and logs.[7]
