ISO 3166-2:IN is the entry in ISO 3166-2, part of the ISO 3166 standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which defines codes for the names of the principal subdivisions of India (whose ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code is IN).
Currently the codes cover 28 states and 7 Union territories. Each code starts with IN-, followed by two letters.
