     Leizhou (mainland) and Hainanese

Leizhou (traditional Chinese: 雷州話; simplified Chinese: 雷州话; pinyin: Léizhōu huà) is a variety of Min Nan Chinese. It is spoken in the Leizhou city and its neighbouring areas on the Leizhou peninsula in the west of the Guangdong province. It has low intelligibility with other varieties of Min Nan, and is sometimes classified as a separate language, though it is often included along with Hainanese in Qiongwen.
