Michal Ajvaz

Michal Ajvaz (born October 30, 1949 in Prague) is a Czech novelist, poet and translator, an exponent of the literary style know as magic realism.

Born to the family of Russian exile, Ajvaz studied Czech studies and esthetics at Charles University in Prague.
