Taipei-Keelung metropolitan area

The Taipei-Keelung metropolitan area (Traditional Chinese: 台北基隆都會區; Pinyin: Taibei-Jilong Duhui Qu) is the largest metropolitan area in Taiwan. The metropolitan area includes Taipei City, Taipei County and Keelung City.
As of April 2006, the total population of the Taipei-Keelung metropolitan area is 6,752,826. The total land area is 2,457.1253 km².
According to the definition of metropolitan areas used by the Republic of China government, The Taipei-Keelung metropolitan area includes the following areas:
- Taipei City
- Taipei County
- Keelung City (core city)
