| This template employs intricate features of template syntax.
You are encouraged to familiarise yourself with its setup and parser functions before editing the template. If your edit causes unexpected problems, please undo it quickly, as this template may appear on a large number of pages.

[edit] Usage
This template categorizes pages using assessment grades and importance through built-in transclusion. An article's assessment is generated from the class and importance parameters in the {{WikiProject Kentucky|class=???|importance=???}} banner on its talk page. This template should be transcluded and not substituted (subst) because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit hundreds of pages.
{{WikiProject Kentucky
|class= (choose one: FA, FL, A, GA, B, C, Start, Stub, Dab, Template, Cat, NA)
|importance= (choose one: Top, High, Mid, Low, NA)
}}
- class: Options are FA, FL, A, GA, B, C, Start, Stub, Dab, Template, Cat, NA. If blank, this will default as Unassessed. Descriptions of the options can be found at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment. NA is "not applicable".
- importance: Options are Top, High, Mid, Low, NA. If blank, this will default as Unknown priority. NA is "not applicable". This is the importance of the article's subject within Kentucky according to the Importance of topic scale.
