The Northolme
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Northolme is a multi-use stadium in Gainsborough, England. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Gainsborough Trinity F.C.. The stadium has a capacity of 4,304 people (504 seated, 3,800 standing) and is nicknamed 'The Chapel', in reference to the Holy Trinity.[1]
In 1988 Worksop Town lost their Central Avenue ground, and were forced to ground-share 20 miles away at The Northolme until 1992.[2] A similar request was rejected in 2008.
