Here are some tasks you can do:

[edit] Please use the Move tab to move/rename content, not cut & paste

In the future, please use the Move tab to move content, not cut and paste like you did from Template:Time travel stories to Template:Star Trek Time travel stories. If you have previously moved/renamed any page(s) using cut&paste instead of the Move tab, please report them to Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen for repair by an admin. Thanks. [edit] Aquaman

I have undone your removal. The two statements you removed were backed by the two references attached to them. The opening statement is directed at the entire section, not those two sentences.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 11:16, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free image (Image:PDVD 046.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:PDVD 046.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 05:41, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] List of Carnivàle episodes

Hi. Since you have recently worked on several Carnivàle articles, I'd like to ask whether you can read over the episode list and check for grammar mistakes or make other suggestions that would improve the article. I have just made my final pass on the list and plan to take it to WP:FLC very soon (tomorrow?). – sgeureka t•c 23:41, 28 October 2007 (UTC)

Just to keep you informed: I have nominated the list for Featured List now. See Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of Carnivàle episodes. If you find something worth improving (like grammar), please comment or fix it; there shouldn't be anything majorly wrong with the list now. Any help is appreciated. – sgeureka t•c 10:57, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for the compliments but...

... I don't plan on bringing the Mythology and Characters article up to Featured Article any time soon (if ever). The FA reviewers were just too nitpicky about my prose (understandable) and Knauf's forum posts (not understandable) the last time in the Carnivàle FAC, although I had done my best, and I prefer to keep my sanity for now before I go through that torture again. I'll however take the four articles to Wikipedia:Featured topic as soon as the Mythology & Characters have passed their Good Article candidacy (which may in itself show what still needs a little work). I opened Wikipedia:Peer review/Carnivàle/archive1 today to deflect any opposition before it comes up in the FT candidacy. (I have some more material to talk about the Ben-Sofie relationship, some not-filmed scenes because there was not enough time, and something about the real carni freaks having an oh-so-good-bad time amongst each other, but then I think this topic is pretty much exhausted.)

You don't happen to have a few magazines/interviews with Nick Stahl talking about his role, huh? Because that is the Characters article's weekest point where my lack of sources prevents me from expansion. And you're also not such a crazy Carnivàle fan to have paid the 50 bucks for the Convention DVD I guess? Because that would be such a big help with properly sourcing Characters of Carnivàle#Season 2 finale and character fates. Just asking, as the one user I put so much hope in left wikipedia before he could become a big help. :-) – sgeureka t•c 00:25, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

Ha! No, I didn't even know about the dvd. You've clearly done more research than I. Like you, I'm just a student spending too much time on Wikipedia... ;) Mdiamante 00:46, 13 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Mask_of_zorro.jpg

I have tagged Image:Mask_of_zorro.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Wikipedia policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Wikipedia:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. [edit] National Popular Vote Interstate Compact

I noticed your good article nomination of National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. On a cursory glance, it looked pretty comprehensive, but, to get a head start on it, I suggest that you format the references in a standard fashion. This is one of the top things that good article reviewers look for, and it would speed up the process quite a bit to do it before someone gets to the article. I would suggest using templates like {{cite web}} and {{cite book}}, where they are appropriate. Thanks, Kakofonous (talk) 14:28, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removing "God" template from Natural Theology

You said in your edit comment that natural theology is irrelevant to God. That doesn't make sense to me. Natural theology concerns channels that reveal the Creator apart from special revelation and the Holy Spirit's enlightenment--basically, how logic and the structure of the observable world imply the existence of a God. --Whiteknox (talk) 06:43, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

I said non-germane, which is not quite synonymous with irrelevant. There's a discussion on the use of this template here: Template_talk:Deities. Best, Mdiamante (talk) 13:39, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Copyedit of Dæmon (His Dark Materials)

Hi; I've made a large copyedit of Dæmon (His Dark Materials). Since you appear to have had a lot of activity on that article recently, you might want to take a look to see if the changes are okay. Thanks! —AySz88\^-^ 22:30, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Carmsandlogo.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Carmsandlogo.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 13:52, 31 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:TGCfilm.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:TGCfilm.JPG. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

[edit] The Mummy 3

This is minor but while the mummy was not "concieved" to be a trilogy of films, any series of 3 movies in a row is a "Trilogy" regardless of if or not it was concieved to be so. I mean the Godfather was not concieved to be a trilogy either, but it is regardless. So it not incorrect to refer to the series as "The Mummy Trilogy". Just like Indiana Jones can now be called the "Indiana Jones Quadrilogy". Colliric (talk) 05:21, 6 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] File copyright problem with File:Avigdor Lieberman.jpg

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Avigdor Lieberman.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Fastily (talk) 05:32, 25 February 2009 (UTC)
