Walter Wallmann (born 24 September 1932 in Uelzen) is a German politician who has served as Lord Mayor of Frankfurt (1977-1986) and Minister-President of Hesse (1987-1991). As Minister-President he also served as President of the Bundesrat in from May to October 1987. He is a member of the Christian Democratic Union.
