[edit] Table within a scrollbox?

I have a scrollbox on my userpage, and I would like to replace the contents with a table. Is this possible? This is an example of what I've tried:

{{scrollbox|height=50px|text=
{| class="wikitable"
|-
! Header 1
! Header 2
|-
| cell 1.1
| cell 1.2
|-
| cell 2.1
| cell 2.2
|}
}}

but all I get is:

{

Is it possible to embed a table in a scrollbox? Thanks. --Bruce1eetalk 08:26, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

Actually, I've since done away with the scrollboxes on my userpage altogether, but I'd still like to know if a table can be embedded in a scrollbox. --Bruce1eetalk 11:25, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
There is another way to make a scrollbox by using <div> tags instead of the {{scrollbox}} template (see Wikipedia:User_page_design_center/Style#Scroll_boxes) and that does work.
header 1 header 2 header 3
row 1, cell 1 row 1, cell 2 row 1, cell 3
row 2, cell 1 row 2, cell 2 row 2, cell 3
This style of scrollbox comes up the same as the other, as far as I know. Cureden 13:21, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. I'll file this away for future reference. BTW I saw the "Scroll boxes" section in Wikipedia:User page design center/Style, but I just assumed it used {{scrollbox}}. I should have looked at the code! --Bruce1eetalk 14:42, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
